The ninth Emmaus Sunday on May 28 went well. Pronunciation class concluded with many parting hugs and promises to connect soon. Only the Healthy Cooking, Guitar, and Math classes will continue for the remaining three Sundays. Volunteers have remained strong and we thank our Lord for the end is in sight.
We had invited our community guests to receive their certificates during the July 2, fun event. However, we changed plans and invited the guests with their families and friends to receive their certificates during our Sabbath worship service. Praise God they accepted and we’re planning for that occasion to conclude the Emmaus Sunday program. Stay tuned for more information!
The program managers (Ceri Purcell, Junior Hayden, Stephen Machungo, and Brian Allman) for “Canada Day Weekend Pancake Breakfast,” are planning for us to invite our community and mingle with them on July 2. A lot of volunteers are needed, please contact the managers to register your interest.
Please pray that these REACH Initiative events continue connecting us and creating healthy relationships with our community for the Glory of our Lord. So far it’s been an exciting journey together.
